All in for indy
I recently posted my calculations on Twitter for the results in my region if every SNP switched to voting for Alba on the list, based on the results of the last Holyrood election.
I thought it might be a good idea to do the same for all the other regions to see if the argument, put forward by some, that the whole list party idea only works in certain areas (which I feel leads to some people feeling it's a bit niche and probably does not apply in their own region)
Anyway, here's the results. I think they may surprise some people with every region gaining pro-independence MSPs and the pro-independence makeup of the Scottish Parliament increasing by 26.
(Although I do note that in 2 regions Alba would be awarded 5 seats in each, it is my understanding that they have 4 candidates for each region. I don't know what would happen in that situation, does the seat go vacant or does the party get to add to their list?)
